As often happens at this time of year, head lice have been discovered at our school.
When we confirm that a student has head lice, the parents or caregivers of that child are immediately notified so they can begin treatment as soon as possible. We also send home a notice with each child in that classroom. Our teachers have been instructed by our Public Health Nurse on ways in which they can minimize the spread of head lice, and they will share those tips with their students.
